Jacqueline Gill, Community Editor

After two years at Presentation, Jacqueline Gill has developed a passion for writing.  When she isn’t busy reporting for the Voice, Jacqueline loves playing soccer, swimming, and running for the Pres cross country team and still can’t decide what her favorite sport is.  Jacqueline is ecstatic for junior year and plans on helping her class win another spirit trophy!

Natalie Royle

Natalie Royle is excited to be a junior this year on the Voice staff. When she’s not doing homework, she likes to play piano, ride her bike, listen to music, play lacrosse, and watch good movies. She is an officer of SPA as well as being in many other Pres clubs, such as CI, SEAS, ITS, CSF and MAT. Natalie hopes to learn a lot this year on newspaper that will help her decide what she wants to pursue in the future.

Riley Perroots, Sports Editor

Riley Perroots is a senior and is very excited to be a member of The Voice for the first time, as a sports editor. Riley is involved in Peer Ministry, the Liturgical Band, Cooking Club, CI and too much more, but loves it all. In whatever free time she has enjoys reading and watching movies. She is obsessed with Iron Man and is thrilled for the year ahead.

Jamie Brannan, A&E Editor

Jamie Brannan is a junior at Presentation High School who is stoked to be writing for The Voice. A native of the Bay Area, she lives for indie films, music, history, as well as blank paper and ballpoint pens. She is never seen without a notebook on hand or a story to tell. In the future she hopes to become some type of writer, perhaps a screenwriter or journalist, or perhaps both after attending college.

Sarah Yeider

Sarah Yeider is a senior at Presentation High School. This is her first year on the Voice. In her spare time (which is not much), She enjoys being a captain on her dance team and hanging out with friends. Since she has a passion for science, Sarah plans to major in either wildlife or marine biology in college.

Kristine Wheeler

Kristine Wheeler is currently a senior at Presentation High School. This is her first year on The Voice! In her free time she enjoys reading, volunteering at Good Samaritan’s Hospital, and occasionally appearing in a theater production.

Sara Muise

Sara Muise is a junior at Presentation, and is excited to be exploring her possible career path as a journalist. At Pres, she plays softball and runs cross-country, and is in many clubs including Community Involvement, Mu Alpha Theta and CSF. In her free time, she enjoys painting, scrapbooking, and listening to oldies music on her record player. She is looking forward to being a part of The Voice this year.

Emily Carolin

Emily Carolin is a junior at Pres and this is her first year on the newspaper. As a true Northeastern girl, she is fond of thunderstorms, snow, rain, and blizzards. When she is not found in the outdoors playing in the snow and rain, you will most likely find her inside, curled up in a squashy chair, reading with a mug of peppermint cocoa or watching “Masterpiece Theater” (the Jane Austen ones, of course).

Corinne Jaques

Cori Jaques is currently a junior a Presentation this year, although this is her first year as a member of “The Voice”.  She plays for the Soccer and Field Hockey teams at Pres and is a member of several other clubs on campus. When she is not doing homework or procrastinating , she can be found  scooping ice cream at Baskin Robbins,  hanging out with friends or spending time with her family.

Kathryn Stephan, Special Features Editor

Kathryn Stephan is a jubilant junior who enjoys movies, theater, and all things Disney-related. In her spare time, she loves playing board games and reading. She is involved in numerous clubs at Pres, including ITS, PAC, CSF, Mu Alpha Theta, O-Team, and Peer Ministry. This is her first year on The Voice, and she is quite excited to write for the newspaper!

Gianna Maietta – Senior Editor

Gianna Maietta is currently a senior this year, and is a second-year on The Voice staff. During the week, she spends her time at her dance studio where she takes various classes and is on the competition dance team. In her spare time she likes to be chillin’ like a villin’ with friends and on weekends she works at Nordstrom as a current member of the Fashion Board. She hopes to attend Chapman University next fall the study psychology and physiology.

Marie-Claire Guidoux, Features Editor

Marie-Claire Guidoux is a junior at Presentation High School and a first-year on The Voice staff.  In her free time, she enjoys being lazy on the couch and reading the newest book on the New York Times Best Seller List.  At school, she is involved in numerous clubs, soccer, and field hockey.  This year, she is on the Varsity field hockey team.  Writing has always interested her, so she is excited to learn new writing styles and possibly become a journalist one day.

Jessica Steinbach, Community Editor

Jessica Steinbach is a junior this year. She is heavily involved in leadership and water polo. She has been a member of the Pres water polo team for 3 years and has had multiple years of experience before attending Pres. Besides Water Polo, she loves to be involved in student council at school.  On her off time she enjoys to spend time with family and friends, watch movies and sleep. This is her first year on The Voice.

Ana Pecoraro, A&E Editor

Ana is currently a senior at Presentation High School.  This is her first year on The Voice and she is very excited to be writing for the newspaper.  In her free time Ana enjoys swimming, dancing, watching old movies, painting, eating frozen yogurt, and learning to play the piano.  She can be found at any time laughing with her friends or reading a good book.

Jamie Pierce

Jamie Pierce is a senior at Presentation High school. She is very excited to be on The Voice staff this year because she wants to gain experience in reporting before majoring in journalism in college. She is a Bay Area sports fanatic, being a gigantic fan of the 49ers, Giants, and especially the Sharks. In the future, Jamie wants to be the beat writer for a professional hockey team.

Leanna Boyd

Leanna Boyd is currently a junior at Presentation High School and she is very excited to begin reporting for The Voice. She enjoys playing tennis with Presentation’s tennis team and at a year round clinic to improve her game. In the little free time she has, she enjoys reading books, hanging out with her friends, and checking out the scoop on the latest movies, books, and TV shows. In the future she hopes to become a veterinarian or a career involving animals.

Archana Bettadapur

Archana is a junior and an enthusiastic new member of the Voice staff. She likes to read and watch TV. Archana is also a SEAS officer and a member of CSF,  Mu Alpha Theta, and PAC. She volunteers at Good Sam and knows how to sing Indian music. She aspires to be more successful than Malcolm Gladwell.

Maryam Qamar

Maryam Qamar is a Senior at Presentation High School and is thoroughly excited to write for The Voice. She is involved in several activities on campus such as Amnesty International, Community Involvement, and the honor societies. She loves being involved on and off the Presentation campus. She is dedicated to volunteering at Good Samaritan Hospital, I Can Too Learning Center!, and with the March of Dimes.

Tanya Padgaonkar

Tanya Padgaonkar is a senior at Presentation High School and loves her newspaper family! She is very passionate about volunteering, orcas, Speech and Debate, and frozen yogurt. One of her eventual goals involves escaping to a lovely tropical island in the Galapagos to live with the turtles.

Natasha Azevedo, Assistant Photo Editor

Natasha Azevedo is a junior at Presentation High School who enjoys participating in student council, playing the violin, and working as the assistant photo editor for The Voice. As a member of Presentation ASB she strives to inspire the student body to join together and reach out to the community. She spends a great deal of time with the music department as a part of the orchestra and is very excited to begin her first year on newspaper.

Shawna Adikara

Shawna Adikara is an upcoming senior this year at Presentation High School. She is very excited to be working on The Voice for her first year. Besides being on the newspaper staff, Shawna is involved in many clubs on campus, including Peer Ministry and the Math and Science Academy. In the future, she hopes to graduate Presentation, complete medical school and travel the world.

Emily Wallace, Co-Managing Editor

Emily Wallace is a senior at Pres and is a second-year on the newspaper staff. She is thrilled to be the co-managing editor of The Voice this year. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, working out, and watching trashy TV…because she is classy. On campus, Emily is a Senior Class Officer, and an active member of SEAS. She hopes to study Communications and/or Environmental Studies in college. Emily is always available at her pres-net email for comments, requests, concerns, or ideas for the website or paper issue of the newspaper.

Christina Vu, Senior Features Editor

Christina Vu is a senior at Presentation and a proud member of The Voice.  This will be her second year on the staff and she is very excited to fill her role as senior editor.  It is no exaggeration to say that she takes an interest in just about anything, but her true passion lies in science as she hopes to pursue a career in medicine.  When not busy with school, Christina enjoys volunteering, tae kwon do, and the occasional pun.

Ramey Parks, Co-Managing Editor

Ramey Parks is a spirited senior who loves her job as co-managing editor for The Voice. Ramey is one of the five ASB Officers, but is also a part of many clubs including Peer Ministry and varsity golf. She loves being a social butterfly, so if you have any questions or just want someone to talk to, Ramey is your gal!

Teresa Mathew, Photo Editor

Teresa is a seventeen-year-old senior whose favorite activity involves shooting people without getting arrested. Photography is one of her greatest passions, followed up closely by a love of writing. When she doesn’t have a camera or pen in hand, Teresa can usually be found with her nose in a book (anything but Twilight, please). She loves writing editorials and shooting events, and journalism is currently her favorite class at PRes. She hopes to venture forth to the east coast for college next fall to pursue her true love of English.

Natasha Sosa, Senior Editor

Natasha Sosa is currently a senior here at Presentation High School, and she is excited to be returning as a senior editor and journalist for The Voice. While not working on the newspaper, she busies herself with other clubs and schoolwork. In the off-chance she finds some free time, she enjoys reading, writing fictional stories, and playing video games. In the future, Natasha aspires to be a neuroscientist and study the mysteries of the brain, as well as write novels on the side.

Meghan Caban Merwin, Copy Editor

Meghan is a senior and second-year Voice journalist. She is a music nerd and involved in both Jazz Band and Liturgical Band. One of her favorite pastimes is singing random songs at the top of her lungs with her friends. In her rare spare time she can be found writing, reading or taking pictures.  She invites you to come see her in the future when she is a therapist and you are having problems.

Gianna Maietta

Gianna Maietta is currently a junior at Presentation and is a new member to The Voice this year. She takes ballet and jazz at a dance studio, and during the spring season she is a sprinter on our track and field team. One day she aspires to be a psychologist in hopes of helping young teens and children. When Gianna has free time, she enjoys being with her friends, and currently works at Nordstrom as a member on the Fashion Board.

Kristina Ngo

Meet Kristina Ngo! She is currently a junior at Presentation High School. She has many interests, and among those includes her passion for music. She jumped aboard the boat of journalism and is ready for the adventure ahead of her. And so her journey begins…

Christina Vu

What do you call a Transformer that takes tests? Wait for it… a scantron! Notoriously known for her rather “interesting” puns, this is just one of the many jokes Christina Vu enjoys making up. When not at school, Christina can be found embracing her many interests such as art, nature and sleeping in. Currently a junior at Presentation, she is new to journalism and is very excited to be a first-year member of The Voice staff.
